  1. WHEN DID ROAD TO RECOVERY TOUR BEGIN?

February 16th 2007 dated the very first R2R concert. The first tour began on February 21st in Georgia. That tour hit Georgia, Alabama, Mississppi and Tennessee.

Next year will mark our 4 year anniversary! We're pretty excited about that. It's great to see where we started and how God developed it along the way.

  2. HOW DID BETH AND LEAH MEET?

    ON THE INTERNET!

Both Beth and Leah belonged to a Christian women's artist online group. When the R2R tour started it was Leah and Marianne. Beth filled in for Marianne in November of 2007 for the November tour because Marianne had some health issues and wasn't able to make that tour. Leah and Marianne both thought that Beth would be the best choice to fill in. Little did they know that Marianne would not be able to come back to touring.  But God knew what He was doing! Leah and Beth quickly saw how perfectly their ministries, music, and personalities fit together, and Beth ended up becoming Leah's permanent touring partner.

  3. WHAT KIND OF EVENTS DOES R2R DO?

From prisons to recovery groups to women's events and church worship services. Both Beth and Leah have pretty much covered any event you could possible name. They come with a lot of experience and years of traveling. Together they have 35 years of ministry service and experience.

  4. IS THE R2R TOURS SPONSORED OR ENDORSED BY A CERTAIN DENOMINATION OR ORGANIZATION?

NO! Although we work with groups within many organizations and denominations we are not endorsed or sponsored by any one affilation, nor are we sponsored by any recovery program such as Celebrate Recovery or Overcomers.

  5. WHAT KIND OF PROGRAM DOES THE R2R TOUR PRESENT?

The R2R Tour designs their program to fit the event. Normally, we have an hour to seventy minute program but also can present a longer or shorter version of that  program.

Typically within a program there is music, praise & worship along with both Beth and Leah's messages.

In our program, we use guitar and a Klong Yaw drum, and optional piano or keyboard Some music will also be on CD.

  6. DO BETH AND LEAH ATTEND A RECOVERY GROUP?

Beth is a worship leader in Virginia Beach for a recovery group.

Leah helped start and attended the Celebrate Recovery group at her church. Both she and her husband were leaders of that group. The group is no longer meeting.

  7. DO YOU HAVE SOUND REQUIREMENTS?

THE R2R Tour trys to keep their travel and program simple for all venues.

But we do have a few requirements that are helpful to have at every event.

    Here is a list:

    • Sound board, speakers, monitors (at least 1 monitor)
    • A sound person to run thesystem
    • 2 vocal mics, Shure 58’s or better (one hand-held, if    available) (we  have our own mics we can use if needed)
    • 2 boom mic stands
    • Guitar input (open channel & an XLR—we have direct box)
    • CD player

    • Optional items:
    • Piano or keyboard, with additional boom mic stand and additional monitorwedge or hotspot
    • Projection capabilities—including a projector, screen, and computer torun PowerPoint or similar (we will have our PowerPoint file on a USB flashdrive)

  8. IS THERE A FEE TO BRING IN THE R2R TOUR?

The R2R Tour stays on the road through love offerings or an amount that has been agreed upon by the event planner. On most tours there is also a small expense fee added that is also used to confirm a date. That fee helps pay for gas, hotel, airfare, etc that is needed throughout the tour. We can keep the cost down because we can spread it around throughout the whole tour. This tends to work for almost all events.

  9. HOW DOES THE R2R TOUR DETERMINE WHICH EVENT TO TAKE?

    FIRST, PRAYER!

We believe that God has the right event fit for each tour. That becomes apparent through the communication process with each event planner. Booking comes on a first come first-served basis, and the expense fee is is sent to confirm the date. We do not pick based on the size of an event or on the amount of money. The R2R Tour is run on faith. We believe God will take care of our needs, and we enjoy watching him work. He has never, ever let us down and has always gone over and above anything we could imagine.

  10. DO BETH & LEAH HAVE CD'S TOGETHER?

Not at this time but they are working on it for the near future. Both Beth and Leah have projects of their own which you can find in our webstore right here on the site.
